    got a friend looking to do a setup with one of these. any ideas where he can get one ?
    280g:peacocks
    210g : haps
    12g : shellies
    (4) 55g:breeding tanks

      I take it this will be saltwater? If not tell your friend to be careful on the freshwater stingray. The only one to legally have in your possesion is the Florida sting ray. I believe someone may know different.

        he just bought a 135g and those two seem to be what he is interested. has not started the setup yet. anyone have one or cool tank mates for sale? ideas are welcome, as i think he is a beginner

            CP has a blue spotted ray right now. Octopus talk to NarnytheGreat on Marsh she has a lot of experience with them

                  I don't have anything for sale, but as for cool tankmates he could start with, lionfish and scorpion fish are neat, just make sure they all are about the same size and will be about the same size when full grown. I think that flying gurnard would be okay too in that size tank. They are a very unique fish and aren't supposed to be difficult, but require a large tank for the adult fish. If your friend can't be swayed from getting either an octopus or stingray, at least make sure they thoroughly research how to take care of them and read other people's good and bad experiences with both the species and aquariums in general, before getting the fish or cephalopod.
