  • w.t.b power heads

Hello, I have a 7 foot long x 2 foot wide x 2 foot deep 200 gallon tank . I have never ran power heads in any of my tanks , so I am not sure what i need . I have noticed a lot of y'all like koralia , please let me know what size i need. It is an African Cichlid tank and I have a lot of holey rock not sure if it would make a difference. Thanks.

Well...it kinda depends on the type of fish you plan to keep...and whether they like a lot of flow or just a little flow . But normally , i would look into getting the Mag series of powerheads by Koralia . Something on the lines of the Koralia Mag 7 or Koralia Mag 8 . Or you can get two of the Koralia Evolution 1400 and place one on each end of your tank . Now , if you like to spend money....then you could always get the Vortech MP60 . Ridiculous amount of flow for a ridiculous amount of "dough".($)

          I like dave's last idea!

Two mp40w on lagoon mode is pimpness.

Plus, back up battery option for light outages too.
I ate my fish that died.

Ah come on the mp60 is not that much money for what you are getting in return. A bulletproof completely adjustable pump
