Your gonna have a hard time finding pellet trained Cichla. All the ones sold around Houston are fed feeders, (Fondren, Xtreme, etc.) And it can be a beeotch to get em on pellets, but you probably already know that. I've found that if you buy a group of at least 6 to 8 small ones, chances are, at least one of them will take prepared foods(cut up shrimp, tilapia, etc.) Then you can move on to Massivore pellets. Once you get one to take prep. foods, then the rest WILL follow. I've done this several times. My Pbass are addicted to Massivore. I NEVER give them feeders. I still give them cut up shrimp frm time to time just because mass. is so expensive, and they go through "the big bag" in about 10 to 14 days. I just sold 2 of my smallest bass, 9", to a member on here named Rico. Super cool guy, you might make him an offer, he might be willing to part w/ em. Anyway, just my 2 cents.....good luck.Last edited by Ceejay; 07-28-2010, 07:57 PM.
