  • Eclipse 37g System - SOLD

I'm selling a Eclipse 37 gallon aquarium for my dad. It has integrated lights and filtration for a very clean look. I'd keep it if I had the room. The tank has been very well taken care of - I can't find and scratches except on the bottom pain of the glass. Would like $100. For those unfamiliar with Eclipse tanks, they look like this:

I have a stand that fits the tank that can be purchased to the buyer of the aquarium for an additional $20. It is wood in color.

I use to have that same tank a few years back (broke in a uhaul truck during a move to TX from FL). It was a great tank and the Eclipse systems look clean. Wish I had space for it. good deal with a stand.

I have the 15 gallon version and I really like it. The filtration / bio-wheel system works well and is super easy to maintain in addtion to being hidden in the lid. This is a much cleaner setup than a standard HOB.

Odd question, I know, but how would you rate the security of this tank vs. a three year old? Particularly of interest is how difficult it would be for a three year old to take the top off and dunk it in the tank. I'm not opposed to siliconing part of the top to the tank if it doesn't hinder maintenance.

I would think this tank would be realatively impenetrable to a three year old. I'm not a kid expert though. The front hood has two lights on the underside, and is therefore relatively heavy.
