MTS are not good to feed puffers. They can break their teeth on them. You would probably do better asking for pond or ramshorn snails.

I know a lot of the time petco/petsmart will give them to you if they have a problem with them.

mines is eating them well. and also i need MTS to feed my Assasin snail as well.

I have plenty in my 150 gallon aquarium, I added some Assassin snails Sunday to help control them. You can have as many as you want just don't know how easy it will be to scoop them out.

The best time to get them is at night when the lights go out. That's when mine all come out to play. I also got some assassin snails this weekend to help with the MTS.

I agree though that MTS shouldn't be fed to puffers.

Assassins will eat left over food after all the MTS are gone. They are very good clean up crew
