  • 55 Gallon Reef Tank - Moving in a month, need to sell!!!

This is a 55 gallon reef tank that's been up for about a year and a half. I've got about 30-40 lbs of liverock left, someone came and bought about 25 lbs today. I've got about 50 lbs of live sand in the tank also. Some of the liverock has some polyps or mushrooms that have attached, but you can have those at no extra charge. Here's what I've got below with prices.

30-40 lbs of tonga and fiji liverock - $75 for all of it.
    1 - blue tang - $15
    1 - coral beauty - $10
    1 - lizard fish - $10
    1 - 1 tomato clown - $8
    1 - cardinal fish - $5
I'd sell all 5 fish for $25 total.

I've also got the equipment listed below. Obviously I can't sell the tank, wet dry, sump pump, or lights until all the fish and rock are gone. If no one buys this stuff I'm going to go to my LFS and just donate it, so just tell me what you want and it's yours.

    55 gallon tank/reef ready - $75
    2 - maxijet 1200 powerheads - $10 each
sea reef wet dry w/bio balls - $25
    Rio 1700 pump - $20
Sun System Tek Light 48" T5 Light Fixture w/4 54W Giesemann bulbs 2 actinic, 2 10,000K daylights - $100 (This thing is only a year old, bought for $400)

We are definitely willing to part out. I just meant that we can't just sell the lights or the wet/dry by themselves because we need those to run the tank. If you want some rock and sand then I'm more than willing to sell it piece by piece. For 30lbs of liverock and sand I'd say about $75. Depending on which pieces of rock you take you could get some corals attached if you want them also, no extra charge if it's attached to the rocks you want.

Just make an offer on anything you want or ask about anything.

Awesome, i havent actually got my tank running yet but hope to in the next few days, im not sure if the corals will make it in a new tank(this is going to be my first attempt at saltwater, but ive been reading, ALOT!!), but if you still have it when its ready i'll take some.

Sounds good, just reply to this post whenever you're ready and if it's still available then it's yours. The corals we have are very hardy so I can just about guarantee you they'd make it even in a new tank. None of these corals are high maintenance, the polyps and mushrooms will make it for sure. If they are attached to rocks that you want then you can have them.

Sorry, you do need to post a price for everything. Even if you're willing to take best offers, forum rules dictate you have to start with a price.

            Thanks, and good luck!
