I have seen a few pairs go for that, but not many. You can buy koi pairs on AB for around $75-$100 that are proven, and Red Koi Pairs go for more...

K I went an researched not only AB, but a few other angel breeders I know sell Koi, and Red Koi, Koi pairs are known to Bring $100, but not $250...unless they are 95% orange/red coverage, proven, and parent raise the young. Where did you buy them from that they cost that much?
