150 Gallon Brand New

For sale i have a 150gallon aga reef ready tank stand and sump. The sump is a 55 gallon diy designed by Melev. The stand is a very nice diy made of finished birch plywood, custom cabinet doors, and 2x4's for frame. All screws were counter sunk and covered. This stand was antique finished and trimmed out. The tank its self has never had water in it. I bought this tank planning a massive reef, but decided i would like to do a planted tank, and due to a move can not fit it in house. Tank dims are 72x18.5x29. I will include tank stand sump and PM skimmer/collection cup for 1000$. Stand pipes and returns are plumbed in the overflows, but not in the sump area.

I will consider trades plus cash or trades for tanks (Prefer 65 gallon and above non reef ready). Please feel free to offer what you have. Trades must be in great shape!!!

no but if interested i can. Its just a standard 55 gallon tank with bafflers glued in and an area for macros or what have you.

If you use a smaller sump you can fit through doors. I had a custome pm skimmer i was going to use then decided on the 55.

I cant believe hopw little intrest there is in these big tanks these days...

lol just read my post and didnt answer that well. The 55 gallon sump must be placed in via the back. I orginally built stand with a custom pm sump i was going to use that would fit. To answer your question yes the inside of the stand has been sealed 3 times to not allow water damage.

Has the outside of the stand been sealed? Water gets everywhere during waterchanges and feedings.

I have seen where DYI stands will bleed onto your carpet if you have not watersealed the entire stand.

Yes if you look at the pictures you will see where the entire stand was painted white with killz or kills. Even the doors were done.

Let me take the time to be more detailed in my description.

Stand is custom built, and as by pictures you can see done 100% right way. It was sealed with several coats of killz sealant to avoid water damage. It was then antiqued. By this i mean it was painted ivory, and then stain was wiped over it to give it that antique look. The stand was build with a smaller sump in mind, so keep in mind if you use the 55 gallon you will not be able to remove once in and up against wall. You could remove center brace and fab it into place as well.

Skimmer is a used PM CV626 rated for up to 150g. Has new venturi valve and plumbing on it. Also in pictures. Included with this is the big collection cup.

Sump tank is a diy f-style sump that melev helped me to build by offering his opinions on my build thread on reef central.

As i said make me an offer or offer a trade, but please be fair. I will not sell this tank for 500$ id rather sit on it so no low balls. 1000 is a very reasonable asking price considering the price of this tank at any fish store here in town. As i said make me an offer or trade.
