yo, i have been told these arent even close to the best to use, but harbor freight has pond/large aquarium pumps for like $30-$35 bucks for a 700-800gph pump, they have a decent head height, but nothing compared to a mag drive.
its about 2/3 the pump height of a mag.

but if you just need something cheap to try it out, i would say grab one from them.

if you still need a 700gph pump, i have a external 700gph pump, its just like a Mag 7 but its external.
