I'm selling my 75 gallon's custom stand & canopy. The canopy is a plywood shell. The stand's design is ReefCentral's RocketEngineer's 2x4 frame with an added plywood skin. I've used both for about 6/7 years. The stand supported my tank on its 20-27th years, so the stand is pretty solid IMO.
The stand will support a standard 48"x 18'' footprint tank e.g. a standard 75 or 90 gallon. Stand's internal clearance is ~35" and the total height of the stand is ~36.5". There's a board on the bottom that can be removed if you wanted a greater, internal clearance.
The stand has two large front doors and 2 side doors. The front opening is 39" and the side openings are 11" left to right, and all are 28.5" tall. One side door accesses an electrical component compartment created with some small boards. These boards are easily removable if desired. The stand's front and sides have a ledge that comes up and out to cover a tank's trim. The tank is made to slide in from the back where there is no ledge or trim covering, or the tank can be lowered into place.
Likewise, the canopy comes down and over to cover a tank's top trim on the front and sides. The canopy has one front door that opens to expose the entire front of the tank. The canopy originally fit two VHO tubes and a lumenarc mini reflector snugly before my switch to LED's. See pictures.
Note: the pink heart is a sticker that has been removed
And aluminum track shown on canopy is not included. Doors need some clean-up so price drop. Note everything is being sold AS IS.
