You do realize that it is essentially just a hose with a garden hose connection and shut off valve. Believe me I've stared at those pieces a lot. Only concern is I'm not sure they'll fit in a 55.

Yeah I don't use the gravel vac part and usually toss that along with the faucet attachment.

These might not work out too well in a 55g unless you are going with some small fish.
