i ve seen a few square tank mangrove setups..
2 or 3 mangrove in the center, maxi minis, some yumas, acans and some sick *** mushroom laying all over the sand bed around the mangrove would be a killer tank, lol..

That or a cheapo acrylic frag tank. It's just for growing out frags. I dunno why I'm going all out. Unless I was gonna do a shallow reef.

just paid for the tank. Sigh.... i guess its a good thing i work lots of overtime. After talking to Chris about it a little more. The man is a good sales man lol.

Upgraded to stapphire, and gonna do an elos style custom overflow. Gotta work out the details but things look good so far. I shot over some ideas i had, imma see what he thinks.

This ain't no frag tank no more. After all this.... its gonna be a full blown reef lol. Imma jack D2mini's idea and make a mini D2mini tank. For those who don't know who D2mini is... (hes also from houston)

The package is basically everything you need except fishes. But sometimes theres fishing too. My gf complains my elos doesn't look ocean enough. So hopefully this will make her happy. Since the rock came straight from the ocean, theres tons of life on there. The rock you get from fiji is mined i think. So its been in the ocean, but theres really no life on the rock, just bacteria and maybe feather dusters. I want the whole shebanga bang. Crabs, Pistol shrimp, mantis shrimps. Corals already on the rock.

Rock also comes with tons of sponges, tunicates, Gorgs,


Kinda the lazy way of doing it, but tons of cool stuff. Since I already have one tank to cherry pick what goes in and out. This tank will just be whatever goes.


I think that guy "dennis" owner of the 130g rimless cube tank thinks i stalk him lol. Everytime i go to city pets I see him. One day I said Hi, nice tank on reef central. He said hi back and was like what the hell....
