I'm on day 3 of keeping my mantis shrimp. He keeps to himself in the rocks, mid level of the tank enough to where he can see me when it's feeding time, corals and snails are all alive and in place, he lives in a 13g glass tank.
Will trade Fish Stuff for Camera Lens and Anime Figures.

Ok So I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this my last question is does the tank need to have a tight fitting lid ?

Mantis shrimp is not much of an escape artist like octopus, as long as the tank is covered, you are good to go.

Seachem Stability works well too. Added it to my 1.5 DSM tank and introduced some CRS the next day (to be extra safe). They're foraging the HC as I'm typing.

If you come to my place tomorrow, I'll give you 5 gallon of saltwater from my tank since I'm doing the water change. It will be help alot in cycling the tank

Water doesn't hold a lot if bacteria. With just water, you'll still need to cycle unless you're getting live rock and live sand too?

How big is your definition of "nano"? I believe nam0821 has a 50ish gallon 'nano', fairly sure his price was nice!
