Yea his sump is a 30g sump. He can probably fit one of those skinny water containers if he can find one

I had a 3" wide canister on my last tank. Fit right next to my sump.

Do you literally have zero room?

Well the angle the tank in a corner and put it behind the stand and then its hidden no need to build anything else

    I lose about 1L a day.

You need to get an ATO. If you got a sump you got room for the float switches.

Just leave a canister next to the stand to store the water.

Light timer and ATO are a must have on a reef tank. If not, you really going to hate reef keeping.

The heat from the pumps powerheads lights and such are part of what causes evap covering the Sump won't help much if you have an open top tank

Build a little thing on the side that flows with the stand to store the water jug for the ATO
