I still recommend the Apex though its the most handy thing for a reef.

Apex uses a float so its moving and I wouldnt recommend it. I dont necessarily have a problem with either Thai I just cant see spending that much money on a dang ATO. I like the Avast Marine its fairly inexpensive and its a pressure sensor so no moving parts.

They are the very two best ATO on the market. I've had too many malfunctions to trust anything else now.
I'm leaning towards Elos. Does the Tunze have moving parts?

True, that would be even more beastly.

Miggy, which do you prefer more Apex or reef keeper?

Get a full controller like the reefkeeper or apex and you are set.

Update: Darbex brought over a PAR meter and we determined how far up I'm going to have to hang my light. I ordered more ATI bulbs to get a different spectrum. I still haven't hungs the light, but have the hanging kit. I need to get an ATO . . . Bedlamer suggested getting one based on a sensor as opposed to a valve. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't have any fronts (I think johnnymisty posted some up) or peacocks available anymore. My fish room have changed to housing more of the smailler stuff.

    Thanks.
