Get a air stone in a bottom of a small pvc pipe with slits in the bottom and a elbow on top and make a little powerhead thay way you can adjust the flow with a valve DONE

They're stoopid expensive for something that can break so easily. Knock offs are about $40-50 a set depending on the size. Name brand will run at least $60 for an inlet and another $60 for an outlet. So total about $120 and that's for the crappier stuff. The nicer stuff is about $80+ a piece. Cheaper than a mp10 of course.

        Help with a flow issue.

I like Jhenry's suggestion. Just am not quite sure how to make that work. Also is there a way to paint PVC with something that won't contaminate or leach into the water?

Krylon fusion spray paint. Comes in several colors and bonds to plastic. Safe for aquariums after allowing it to cure.

PVC it is then. In all honesty I wouldn't put lilly pipes on my tanks. All my future tanks will be drilled unless they are 20 dollar plastic tanks.

For such a small tank, you can try a small 10G Hang on Back mechanical filter, its outflow is every gentle.
You can use the filter media that comes with it or you can remove it.

I don't have bulkheads or ways to drill it. Besides it's a planted tank that the lily pipes are going on. If we're talking saltwater, then yeah drill that ho!

It's a lot more if you go for the knockoffs. About $100 more. But hey, if you've got the money then more power to you!
