doesent matter. brine shrimp is all fiber it lacks needed vitamins. your most likely not going to have a long lived mandarin if its eating just brine. I had a mandarin on brine and pods that i lost to ich. still have a scooter blenny that eats brine, and pods. The bad thing about them eating brine, is that all other fish will eat the brine b4 they can. And spot feeding a shy mandarin is quite hard, in my opinion.

Damn dude. I had some epoxy at my apartment too! I would have just given you some if I new you need it.Originally posted by soymilk View Postman, stupid snails.
I wedged the torch coral in between some liverock and it held pretty good. Somehow while i was at work, it got knocked into the plate coral. They went to war it seems, they both don't look too happy. Looks like I'm have to start glueing crap down.
Same thing happen to me. The candy cane I gave Brian got its world rocks by my yellow zoa.
I have most my zoas glue down now.

Only get a mandarin if you can supply the pods for it! Also my shrimp eats my snail poop. Caught him red clawed the other morning with a mouth full of spider conch poo.

It is possible your tank is cycled if you got the LR from an establish tank.
How many gallons if your tank again?
Wonder why your clown jumped. I have an open tank also and they never jump.

i knew it was a bit early, but i tested the water and i guess cured live rock and that live sand helps it cycle. I added a clown fish in...
too bad he decided to take a walk on my counter when i left for work today. RIP clown fish.
Mandarin fish time? I think the one at city pets eats brine shrimp.... only one left lol.

I also use a turkey blaster to get all the junk on the rocks, between the rocks, and dead spots.
With the PM10 you can just turn it up and it will push the junk into the water column and try to remove it during water change.
