    If you had fish only or a lot of marco algae then maybe consider running tap but if you got corals then no, no, no.

    It's already hard as is keeping the water clean. You are going to need all the help you can get. Use the RO water.

    Yeah that is what I am going to do. I bought the SW from them and just picked up a tank of FW for my ATO reserve

    do not use tap water...its gonna cause allege boom easily...
    which will possibility outrun your corals and kills them..
    where u got your premake salt water from?
    i get mine from city pets...their salt water is RO...and every week i go i also get some RO fresh water too to use for top off...

    Good enough it allows people to get info on a lot of different things I thought about in the startup without having to give the info in my journal. I will start that in a moment.

    Depends, if you got LR from someone's tanks like I told you to today....waiting period is really low.

    Could be more than 4 weeks, that's just an estimate. Some times yes some times now.

    Golden rule to keep corals is to be wait, wait, and so somemore waning.

    I got a test kit you can borrow to check if the cycle is over. Don't waste money on it.
