a little update, about a month ago I picked up some black mangrove seeds on the beach and tossed them in my sump. well luckily after adding about 5 they started growing and recently had to hang my fuge light to allow for more growth. theres two that are doing good and a third thats just starting to sprout leaves. heres a couple pics.

black, for sure. seeds looked like this http://sealitsoc.blogspot.com/2010/0...sprouting.html seeds start washing up on shore around end of fall/beginning of winter.Comment

Dude that's tight you just found them off the beach.
But it sucks I have to wait until next year to fine some.I ate my fish that died.
