Next time I will probably get a good fish and then get like 3 yellow tangs so I can loose those and not care. I really want an Achilles so I may hold out on any new tangs until I am ready for that beast.

@Tony - They arent the most colorful of the angel family but they are one of a very small species that are "reef safe". So far so good
@Omay - I know thats why I am pissed it was a great price and a unique fish. I remember getting the Kole tang and he was about 3" and scared, now that f'er is 4-4.5" and is an ahole.

Well it appears both my angel and powder have survived ich. My angel isnt 100% yet but definately looks 10x better than Monday. She was covered in it and was swimming akwardly but still eating. I pointed my return flow up to get more air in the tank and went to bed hoping for the best, I really didnt think she was going to make it through the night. All I could see this morning was some fungus on her tail from secondary infection and thats it. My powder never showed any signs of ich other than two white pimples on him.

Ok just got a gold cristata coral and it looks pimp under the blue light. The gold really pops. I took a pic on my iPhone so it doesn't do it justice.

Apparently my water is too clean for my cheato. It is slowly disappearing. Tested my nitrates and it is 0 and phosphate is now .01. Still have some hair algae but not to bad. GFO, carbon, and bio-pellets seem to be doing some work.

I used to have to rip off pieces of the cheato before but not anymore its going away. You probably have less nutrients now and thats why the cheato is only staying one size its enough to consume the nutrients that you have in the water.
