I feel it's a good option to have when you are in a transaction .

The message is on top if needed to refer back n forth.

I still think its a pain to have to scroll all the way down, the highlight and delete or ctlr-a then delete.

Call me whatever, I just think its a cumbersome and a bit wasteful if you need to print off a PM..

The above message is only for the single previous message sent and your message sent to get that reply is only there if quoted. So in a transaction or discussion there would be no above message.

I think the majority has voted... even if and when the vote is done the site owner still has to decide whether it would be in the best interest of everyone even with the poll there. But from the looks of it looks like everyone voted against your request Geoff.

I do like how when you click the box next to the message it now highlights the author's name and date message was sent in red.

It was never a pit of wills either way, and Traci will make the call not matter the outcome of the vote.

For the record, I am trying to find a way to make it an option per user. That seems the most logical way to do it. So far, no luck...but I'm looking....

The user does have an option. They have the option to select and delete the quote before sending a message.
