hahaha... no. I get into scuffles like this with moderators about once a year on the various forums I frequent.

I became a moderator on one about two years ago, so its taught me a lot more patience. Its also probably why I said anything at all concerning this matter. Normally I like to sit back and watch it all unfold.

Well....I will say this.

I have deleted alot of post when they did not fit the current thread. I try to leave a note but sometime I forget. So if anyone have a problem with it ask for my resignation. Reefwhisper tired that already lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, technically I cannot post pics for another member who asked me to?  Except for a couple of people I didn't think this was a big deal.  If anything it kept the thread bumped up to the top; people posting comments.

Technically if you were asked, that makes you the sellers agent and your intension is to sell the item.  Therefore, not a problem.
I have never herd of a bump being deleated or edited.
Although many comments are humerous, I have seen them get out of hand in a hurry, becoming  :bsofftopic:

Okay, this is just getting crazy.  We are all adults and shouldn't need a bunch of rules to tell us how to be respectful of other people...even on an internet forum.  This goes for MODS too.  I don't want to make a bunch of 'rules' because with that comes the need to restrict activity.  

Here's what we want...

1.  Don't blatantly hijack someone's thread.  While some members welcome the conversion in the threads (many of us are friends outside the forum), there are some who just want to sell their stuff.  Example:  I know if RRocket2002 is selling an item, I can come in and comment on his stuff without him getting irritated....but someone I don't know may not feel the same way, so I may not.

2.  Don't be rude.  Example:  If YOU think that someone is asking too much for their stuff, keep it to yourself, or send them a PM...don't bash their price in the thread.  You don't know if what they are selling is exactly what another Box'er has been looking for and is willing to pay out the nose for.  If they really want to sell it and it's not moving...they will lower the price over time.  

We all just need to use our heads.  Everything is not black or white.  The beauty of HFB is how relaxed it is and how many real friendships exist here.  We don't have to police it to the point that posts are being edited or deleted on a daily basis.  This should really only be happening in extreme cases.  Mods, treat it like you are a traffic cop...the person going 40mph in a 30mph zone...well, you might give them a pass and look the other way.  However, someone blazing through at 120mph...that's the guy you want to stop and talk to.  Make sense?

Can everyone just relax and enjoy the Box now??  You'all are makin' me tense!
