I have heard, two stories recently about people leaving their homes to go fix up old bunkers located else where across the states. These are just random people that I did not hear from personally, but was merely relayed to me in casual conversations.

I heard something not too long ago on local talk radio about two intelligence officials, one from Great Britian and one from Russia who are currently both in the process of having their own personal bunkers built for them.....

What's up with all the bunker building?

I think it's pretty cool. Of course they're preparing for the worst. Am I hurt that I probably won't get to go live in their bunker? No. There's not room for all of us - but someone has to carry the human race past the apocalypse. GO USA!

I guess with the rapture coming soon, and the 2012 chatter and the concerns over the protest/riots over in the middle east, our own economic problems, mixed in with non stop headlines of greed and corruption across the globe.....why not be like Rare Earth and Get Ready.

so do we really have humongous bunkers built underground in the usa. I assume yea but for other purposes not this. Some of the image looked like the ones i had seen on discovery channel when they were building a tunnel in europe for a train. i didn't read all of it cause i'm tired but it seems like it'd make for a good sci fi movie and a really good book.
