Define the American Dream for me...

I'm wondering how many and what kind of definitions will be given....

Please....take a minute or two, or three...to share your thoughts on what the term means for you now....today.....and what you thought it meant when you first heard the expression or saying....."The AMERICAN DREAM".

Me....now....just that....a dream, that is quickly fading away.

Back then....the ability to find what you wanted through hard work and or advanced levels of education, In short, the ability to do what you wanted to.

The American Dream i always thought was a place you feel safe, happy, no drama, no fears, contentment to live life and grab your happy...i have none...so i guess mine is fading away as well.....My hard work is just that....hard work....nothing to show for it....i don't own anything so ...my hard work didn't pan out for me...it just became my way of life.....
