But it is the Obama administration that chose not to extend the tax cuts which is resulting in an increase in taxes to ALL tax payers in every tax bracket.

I was under the impression the Dems want to extend the Bush Tax Credits, but only for those under the 250k mark. However the Reps wanted to extended for all tax brackets. Because of that impass, the credits won't (or didn't, I've been out of pocket for a few days) pass.

Yes, those evil Republicans are blocking the tax cut extensions :) You must be watching CNN or MSNBC (or CBS, ABC or reading the Comical)

There are around 40 Democrats that were calling for the entire tax cuts to be extended along with the Republicans. So instead of working with the Republicans and the 40 Democrats, Nancy Pelosi chose to end the session without doing anything, than she, Harry Ried and Obama blamed it on the evil republicans who hate lower taxes :) yeah right.
