I feel I need to openly correct something I was wrong about.
If you followed the thread (that has since been deleted) about the Texas GOP, you may remember that part of that discussion was regarding how often the Texas GOP releases it's official platform.
While I stand by my original positions in that thread and also don't believe the Texas GOP Official Platform says anything resembling what had been stated in the original story that was posted, I feel the need to correct myself.
You see, part of growing as a person is being big enough to admit when you were wrong. Even when nobody else may notice. so, I found this and knew that I needed to say this even though I knew it would probably never even be noticed by anyone else. I was wrong on this point.
I stated that the Texas GOP only releases its official platform every four years during Presidential election years. I was wrong on this. While historically this appears to have been the case, The Texas GOP did in fact release an Official Platform on it's web site since that thread was deleted.
So, I was wrong and I apologize for the mis information.
