Concrete ideas....not really....the corruption in my opinion is entreched so deep, it could take decades to undue ...

I know this sounds pestimistic, but after watching and waiting for over 30 years to see some real progress from washington, I am beginning to lose all hope in that place.....

Who knows, I may yet someday find the desire to grab some sort of standard and do what I can in my own way.....I'll pray for guidance in this area.....You have inspired me in a small way.....thank you.

There needs to be a overall cleansing of all government and then a method to track the newly elected officals actions...like an employee on a probation period. If the newly elected official is voting and/or conducting himself in line with the publics wishes, he stays, if not he/she goes.....something like that anyway.

The one major law of the land for politicians should be ...if you violate the constitution at all, you're either fired or prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but replaced as soon as possible.

This is all relative. What you think is not doing is job or what you think violates the constitution is not for someone else. So your idea would be hard to implement in the real world other than the way its currently being done. If you dont like the policies or actions of a politician you vote them out. So currently at the last election everyone liked what Democrats brought to the table. Though I honestly think it wasnt a vote for Dems as much as it was a vote against Bush. Which you can see in the way many Dems ran their campaigns. Take Obama for instance many times he referred McCain as another Bush and that he wasnt Bush instead of debating McCain on the issues directly.
