I can honestly say that I've met more black racists in my life than white ones.

How do you know this ? What did they do to make you think they were racist ? The reason I ask this is because I want to know what a White person perceives as racism . I also want to know how a White person can be a victim of racism that was perpetrated directly by a Black person . Basically , I want to know what those Black racist did " directly " to you that made you think they were racist .

No...I'm saying he was elected, at least in part, by a feeling of people, not just blacks, that it was "time" to have a black president. I'm saying that a lot of people looked past his politics because they wanted to make history, to feel good that they had been a part of fighting racism, policies be damned. There are several black people that could have run that I would have voted for long before Obama and ahead of McCain as well. It doesn't have anything to do with skin color. It has to do with values.

I had a really pretty black girlfriend some years ago...I received (and she did too, for that matter) far more crap from black people than I did from white people. Now, please, go ahead and tell me that black people can't be racist.

I've been on the receiving end of that sort of stuff at an employer some years back. I'd like to think that you know that there is not a racist bone in my body. But I was laid off from a job, along with several other people, because they wanted to move people into those jobs who were black. Everyone who was laid off was white and those who took the positions were black. It had to do with a new supervisor, a black man, they were moving in from a night shift along with the majority of his crew, and he himself told me, and I quote "My guys just aren't going to be willing to work with white people". The company shouldn't have allowed it, but I suppose they were afraid of the Quanelle/Jackson/Sharpton types coming in and stirring up crap. So, in the name of tolerance, they chose to allow racism. The only argument that I'm making is that it exists on all sides and is no less acceptable coming from people other than whites.

I know you're not racist.... not at all . I ask those questions because even in racism....some people try to make a diference between "White" racism and "Black" racism . I know that it sounds crazy...but there are some people who think like this . I for one don't have a racist bone in my body . I am wrong. In the last few years, the EEOC has added guidelines for descrimination against whites in the workplace. This was not the case about 5 years ago. I guess the EEOC has recognized this as a problem.

Give us example please! On discrimination based on your skin color?


How about getting pulled over because of your skin color?
How about getting denied service due to your skin color?
How about having a gun pointed in your face cause you didnt fit in with everyone else?
How about being judge on your skin color and not your abilities?

Those 4 have happen to me within the past 10 years.

Getting pulled over...all the time. Reason I dont drive anymore nice rides.

Denied service a company here locally denied me cause my kind was high risk. Different company..same business pratices gave me what I needed the next day.


At gathering one night. I was the only black there. One guy started to showoff about his "skills" I was not amused. He felted slighted and stuck a gun to my temple. He said "You better laugh _ _ _ _ _!" I didnt say a thing. Someone took the gun and I left. Should I have press charges? Yea, but walking away was better.

Chris can vouch on this. I used to do car shows all over Texas and LA. If I was not near my truck when the judges came around. I would have a good chances of winning. If I was around....well a few shows my score card never showed up.


Do I think all the thing s that happen above was right? HELL NO! But, does that change me as a person? NO!

Sooooo.... what's the solution? Actually, lets first identify all the contributing factors to the problem, then lets talk solution.

there is no solution to discrimination...if we were all one race then people would find something else to discriminate against. religion, location, short, tall, fat, ugly, pretty or whatever. people don't like whats different, most of the time because they dont even like themselves.
