Anyone interested in joining a 10 week summer bowling league at AMF Willow on 249?
Nice, laid back, fun, beginner group of adults. We have a wide range of averages from below 100 to a little over 200 (my husband) & he coaches for free during the summer. Plus, it's a handicap league so the worse you are, the more pins you get before you ever throw a ball. Some teams get over 300 handicap pins, my team gets less than 70.
The dues are $18 a week & we start at 7pm. We're usually done by 9:15 at the latest. There is a 1 time annual fee of $20 that goes to the United States Bowling Congress which is for your sanction.
We start on June 3rd (this coming Sunday). The first night there is a meeting in the bar at 6:30 to elect officers, go over rules & form teams. It's a mixed league so you have to have at least 1 person of the opposite sex on your team of 4. Everyone has to be over 18, as well.
