I need help real bad

I just cameback from California few days ago to be with my girlfriend during her surgery, she has stage 4 liver cancer. Surgery went really well as planned. Right now I'm struggling to get money ($7,000) for her last 2 session of chemotheraphy. Does anyone here in houston know someone that will lend me some money, I tried to several banks in houston but they denied me. I really need this money, I can pay  everything by November 30 2008. So please help me I'm kinda desperate now. Thank you - Raleigh

Be sure to try local clubs you may belong as well as any church or other groups.

Have you told the Banks you could repay the money be end of November?

Do you have a credit card?  Lots of times a credit card will let you cash advance.

I told the bank about it and they still denied me :(  if somebody wanna help or know somebody who could help my situation, I really can pay for it on November 30 with interest.

Call MD Anderson.  They can help you with the financial aspect of cancer treatment.  There is a Texas Resident Financial Aid form they can help you get and fill out.

try these first....as an employee of the UT Organization i've learned that MD Anderson is more quick to demand cash than to help you find some...I had my mother there during her cancer treatments....they aren't as nice as they used to be....i'm sad to say.....

My mother, who is fighting stage IV inflammatory breast cance, was denied medical care unless she came up with the cash UPFRONT by the Houston Medical Center hospitals.  Since she is a 64 year old farmers wife, she qualified for emergency medicare from the State of Texas thru a bill passed last year.

I don't know your details or how old your girlfriend is but if she qualifies, this is an option.  Good Luck and Kind Wishes.

We have the same situation in California, they won't do the chemotheraphy unless we pay upfront. :(  If anybody know any loan shark in houston please tell me too. I kinda desperate now. I've been up since this morning trying to find any lender all around the country, Thank you everyone

Go back to friends and family.  You are very vulnerable right now so be careful.
