Ok I found one even if any one is interest in it. It's at the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Herman Dr. close to the museum district and it's free.

I use to go all the time years back.  

Great plays and stuff.

I, we would hang out Saturday morning in line for the free tickets at the Theater.  The play was that night I believe.  The only reserved seating for so long and then opened up to anyone who could find an empty seat.  Or you can take a blanket or folding long chairs and sit on the hill.  

The Zoo is really nice as are the Museums.  

There's lots to do, just depends on your interests.

Jump in your car and drive around the Beltway or 610 for a few hours, then take a little trip on 45, and you're gonna get more than enough "entertainment" to last you awhile. I've seen some interesting things on the roads.

Well if you don't mind making a short trip to Old Town Spring, the pet fest is happening there this weekend.
If it is going to be anything like last year, it will be a blast!

this weekend on saturday, The Hotel Cafe Tour will be at the Meridian.  Not sure if you guys are into Indie music, but if you are, this show is one not to be missed!  Priscilla Ahn (google up her "boob song") and Meiko are amazing!

or just wait until next week on saturday for... GHAC Auction!

oh yea, the annual Bayou City Art Festival is also this weekend.  its basically artists displaying and selling their creations in booths scattered throughout the streets around City Hall.  they usually have some live entertainment throughout the day.  but yea, if you're not into art that much... heheh  (though it's a lot more interesting than an art museum)

its a bike ride around downtown at 2 am in the morning on sunday the 26th of october.

its a lot of fun!
