AR15 Lower Receivers.......anybody interested?

I found 2 Stripped Lower Receivers in my fun pile.

Both are mil-spec made by CMT for Global tactical. Denny had them custom made with no caliber markings and simple design.

Marked safe and semi which is cool too.

The two I have are low serial#'s

Asking $125ea. which saves you the waiting list, shipping and FFL transfer.

Thanks EK.  Here I was looking on AR15.com forums for one of these.  Wish I could have picked up the second one tonight.

Really feel sorry for whoever is next to you when you shoot that.... those comps are a mofo! Wondering though... why didn't you just opt for the midlength bbl to top off that freefloat?

It's 16in is that mid length?  The upper was a package deal off of EE on ar15.com  it's a M1S 16'' C.A.R. Lightweight Barrel.  May need to get it cut to 14in and tap in my comp of choice but for now I'm not going to do a tax stamp.

Ah, I see go with a longer free float tube.  Man, you're right.  I can see it.  I'll see how this works and may do some horse trading to get a longer tube and the sights that go on the tube not the barrel.  Man, you've got a good eye.

The C.A.R. bbl is the carbine gas chamber.

I think dennysguns offers a lwt. midlength as well as Noveske.  If you are gonna get work done hit up NFA_Investments on ARFcom... Keith is local and has done some mighty fine work for me!

He cut, rethreaded, recrowned and turned the excess into a knurled thread protector on this....

Well the midlength free float tube to give asthetics but the midlength gas chamber to give function! smoother recoil and better burn time! Also having the sites on the tube would be more stable.

one of my first builds was done with the YHM FF tube... but now I don't think I could build one with using Larue!

I call Larue style hand guards cheese graders.  First build and I'm happy with it for now and it fell in budget.  I've got to buy optics for it before any other mods or money go into it.

Better grips, stock, better charging handle etc will be replaced first then back to the front end again.

Soo many cool things to hang off the black rifle! PRI makes the sweetest charging handles, the gas buster and just the latch itself!

good for the price. but reticle is hard to see in the bright sunlight. stays on target while shooting very well. easy to sight-in.
