it was with extremly great sadness that i learned this morning about the passing of Purvis Jackson....the founding member of the Spinners.....he is a great loss.....but his music will live on in my life that's for sure......

Well, it's a shame for sure, I remember those songs of course, some really good memories surround those days.
CFTruth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.

yeah i was pregnant with my son when "could it be i'm falling in love" came out....
i remember feeling so alone then....it was just me and my unborn baby living in a flat on the southside of houston.....and i remember feeling good when i heard that song and how excited i was about it...i wrote it in my son's journal that i was keeping of the "happening" things while i waited on him to get here....
so yes it is a sad day about his passing......

the saxaphone player for Dave Matthews died too....... :(
not sure if anyone knows about Dave Matthews though... :wink:
they play alot of his music on "House".....i have a very good cd of his....
but yeah it's really sad all around....
