i would never open up a buffet of all you can eat sushi, not here in the states anyways... you get what you paid for...
i do plan on opening my own store, but it'll be no where near houston, for now its a secret...

ahhh yes, the younger years...so long ago I know I did a lot of stuff that I'm still wondering about!

I think there are a couple decent sushi/seafood buffets. Of course the sushi restaurants are 10x better but I like a little variety in my food so the buffet route works for me!

I'm all about variety too...I love buffets. You can try what you want and not have to worry about taking one bite and not liking it.

that is why you make friend with the sushi chef(s), they will let you sample some stuff... free of charge.. then again, you can always feed him/her beer/sake... he/she just might forget to put couple items on your tab...

okie we need to make it over to Mahoro's work soon.. we all need to have a sushi night soon again.. Lets make this happen again !! Hopefully more than just two people can make it next time, and Kiovo, maybe you can come along and if for nothing else, just not have the things that the FDA's says you should not attempt :)

hahaa.. tomorrow nite would be great... we just got in a case of fresh salmon and some gaint clams tonite... depends on how lunch is on friday, we might get in some urchins, kanpachi and whatever else supplier has...

Well Mahoro will have to tell us if a Saturday night will be crowded.. but we sat at the bar and there was plenty of seats there :) and that is all I request is we sit at the bar to get the cool services from Mahoro :)
