    Re: Best buffet

So I somehow found this thread from 6 months ago!  I went to Todai Seafood and Sushi buffet last night. OMG  8O I loves it!  I know between the raw oysters and salmon sashimi I got my money's worth!!!

Do they still have the Cua Rang Muoi?

That's the only thing we sit down to eat there... the sushi is decent for the price and the selection is through the roof if you can stomach everything!

That's the key, learning what  you can and cannot stomach..... I found out the hard way.....My ribs still hurt when I think about it.....

Yeah that roasted squid was pretty good.  They didn't have the cua rang muoi last night but they did have the crab legs which were the best I've had in Houston.  There weren't too many sushi rolls I cared for but the fact that I can eat as many salmon sashimi as I wanted made up for it!  They had churrascaria, which I tried the lamb chops (first time eating lamb) and that was pretty good.  The only thing they kind of lacked in was the desserts.  Oh, and they also had pho, which was baaaaad lol.

yeah I saw that but I didn't know what it was so I didn't try it.  Plus I was all over the place last night stuffing my face as fast as possible!  I want to try Kirin One next, I heard it was pretty good.

Second best....azuma's.....only when I feel like cooking meat on a rock.

went to Kirin One off 1960 last weekend, it was pretty good. About 10 bucks cheaper than Todai, had less food, but the sushi selection and the raw oysters made up for it. they kept bringing out fresh oysters every 5-10 mins, but the other stuff took them about 30 mins to refill. The clams, oysters, mussels and crab legs all went fast. I would definitely go back!
