So Cesar... first take the puppy to Nick -- Nick, does Roxy fall under the clause of "discounted services to fellow Box members?"
Then off to David for some love and attention and voila the perfect little dog :)

Roxy is cute as a button :)

      Congrats Cesar !!

Shes has plenty of toys but is just a bit tenacious at times any suggestions?? She nips at my toddler and he doesnt know how to react so all I hear is WWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
We were expecting this to some degree so we are not scolding her, "shes just a puppy". Anyways Ill keep you all updated!!

no u want to repremant the dog, just do it verbally. and then start ignoring the dog when it gets nippy, just dont grab at its face or anything like that. yipe and stop playing. just for a minute or so.

if i brought taz along he could help the dog learn not to nite, but puppies annoy him some lol. he likes BIG dogs, so he will really enjoy the house sitting job i just got watching two golden retrievers and a mastiff.

                    Re: WTB small puppy

I'll just share my experience with the chewing thing...When mine was a puppy (labs are sorta notorious for chewing... ) I made sure that she got out of the house and ran around at least 3 times a day. That helped to get some of the "puppy crazies" out. And I also made sure that she always had her own chew toys, and a few to choose from. I am proud to say that in her whole life with me, she only chewed up one stuffed animal.  (I worked at a pet store, I would bring toys home to her often, and whenever she saw a plastic bag in my hand she got excited. One time I sat a bag from the pet store down next to a stuffed animal...bla bla bla.)

And yes, she is absolutely adorable!! Bring her to the next GHAC meeting!!

Great choice, guys!  Beautiful dog...I am not quite sure what she is, but "border collie mix"...no way!  Just remember there is no such thing a a "bad" dog...just bad owners...I am sure she will bring you and your family many years of happiness and devoted "loving"...just remember she's just a "teenager" and you will have to teach her the rules

Lots, and lots, and lots of chew toys and rawhide...or else something else gets chewed...Border collies are "herding dogs" and some may have a tendency to nip at the heels of fast moving kids...but I don't really think there's any collie there...they grow out of the nipping pretty fast, generally...remember, they want to be loved and please you so if you express disapproval they will get it...just remember, lots and lots of chewies...
