ok first off.  i just figured out that guygeek is a girl and girlgeek is a guy..  and here i was thinkin that guy was a guy and girl was a girl.  i though yall were callin yourselfs geeks.  hum.  unless the guy wants the tiara. hey thats fine with me its your money but.....   lol.  
and second y do i get the idea that some people on here are some dooms day conspiracy theorists?  
and about the dooms day,  did yall watch history channel last night about dec. 21 2012 the mayans say thats DOOMS DAY.  uh oh.  whos right, them or was nostradomis?  hes been right about some stuff but the mayans are battin a better record...........  spin that around in ur head.

i love the cheetah. i use to instruct in them.  they were so much fun.  great planes.  

zulaab u must done your flyin out at hobby with fletchers huh.  they were the ones in town with the grumman fleet.  i worked there for awhile.  I fly for ExpressJet now.

Yes !!  Maybelle Fletcher at Hobby airport in 1990.   I left Cliff Hyde Flying Service when I learned from behind my back that Cliff Hyde was never going to allow me to get my commercial there, because he didnt want overweight people to be in the business.
I left after getting my Instrument Ride there.
Took my instrument ride actually out of Ellington Field at the Ellington Aero Club back in 1990.  Cliff Hyde told me I needed an additional 20+ hours of instruction before he would let me take my exam.  I went to the aero club where I already was a member and was given my sign off after 3.3 hours (3.0 hours of instruction is needed by a CFI to give a sign off).  I passed with flying colors the examiner said.  He said he was very impressed with my flying.

Then I went to Fletcher Aviation and took my commercial and Multi.
I have not flown an airplane since 1995 :(  out of money and other reasons.

Hmmm...get a very posh, private residence; put majority of capital in max interest funds, then invest in sheltered property and set up multi corps to reduce liability and tax . Commission a hardcore bike builder to build my specific ride, with all the trick parts I'd need to cruise solo or 2 up; set up untouchable fund for my daughter til she's 21, and a family corporation to disperse unsecured loans to all my neices, nephews, and cousins as they grow up; get house in Central America, Israel, somewhere on the Eastern Seaboard; hire zulaab to pilot me various destinations on demand; build amazing fish environments; and start a Doberman breeding plantaiton.
Visit Thailand, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Dubai, and Brazil, then South Africa. Hire secretary to take all calls and make appointments for people who want to contact me; change all my phone and address listings and numbers, expunge all personal info in the public record I can; hire a personal personal trainer and have several surgeries. Rejoin the HFB as Daddy Bigbucks.

zulaab, yeah when i came back to houston area in the beginning of 02 and started instructing here.  i looked into cliff hyde for work.  that guy was a piece of work and well works not exactly the 4 letters im thinkin just the nicest and reader friendly on here.  lol.

1st thing I would change my phone number. Then buy an island with the worlds largest fish tank (the ocean).
Of course I would take care of all my daughters needs & my close friends & relatives. Then my wife & I can live off of whats left.

I could live on a shore, had a boat to go fishing and owned a restaurant/club with a stage for customers to tell fish stories.
Like  a contest - who's story gets more votes - gets free dinner.

the usual.. pay off debt, spread to family.. houses.. cars.. boats.. invest.. savings..

now on to the good stuff.

freshwater fish tank 25' x 8' x 6' (like the one at fish gallery, but on steroids)

same for a saltwater set up..

as for the fish id like to travel the world and catch them.  except, for the saltwater. i can just go to galveston (imagine a native saltwater tank.. awesome).
freshwater: rare peacock bass, fw stingrays, payaras. african tiger fish...

saltwater: redfish, speckle trout, flounder, black drum, mackerel, sting rays....

as you can see.. ive thought bout this numerous times.
ahhhh i can only dream.

I'd square away my folks, and give some to close family, and friends

I then would put half to 3/4 of what was left into a high yield account

with the rest I would buy a good chunk of land, probably up in the hill country, overlooking lake travis, or something overlooking a small valley, I would then build my custom home, (plans were drawn up back in school 8) ) the house's main feature would be the two story curved glass wall, as the rest would almost entirely be built into the hillside. after that was done, I would sit on it for a few years, and then begin buying my dream cars.
