Dont get me started... Even our police groups are pretty horrible (no offense to any police/box member). I got honked at by a police before during a trafic jam on 45. He tried to get me out of his nose but there was no where to go... He pulled to the feeder next to me, rolled his window down then start cursing at me and threaten to give me a ticket. The other day, a police stopped right in the middle of the road, there was only 2 lanes on each side.. He was giving someone a ticket i just slowly go through then he suddenly walked out in front of me.. I yanked the brake but that still scared him a bit.. He threatened to give me a ticket lol...

Haha sounds about right. Things I have come to learn driving here:
-Driving manual? Whats that?
-Turn signals must be sold as optional features on cars
-Stop signs are only suggestions
-Shoulder of the road and/or center turn lanes can be used as a personal Bat Tunnel
-Police turn on lights just to not stop at a red light
-If you drive a Lexus, no traffic law applies
My list would keep going for a while but I will spare you

Morpheus, you are so right about the driving "rules"!! Haha! I've also learned that when it's dark, having your headlights on is apparently optional.
But if you DO have them on and ESPECIALLY if you drive an SUV or truck, it's absolutely mandatory to keep them on high beam.

Lol the most funny accident I have seen happened down the street inside my neighborhood. I was dumbfounded. It was a pickup truck completely upside down in the middle of the intersection. I assumed from the skid marks all over the place that he must've been driving really fast and swerving like all these tards around here do because they think it's "cool".

You know... I have HIDs, but they're not extremely bright. A lot of times when I drive next to oncoming traffic on small highways or streets, people will turn on their high beams...Originally posted by aquabee View PostMorpheus, you are so right about the driving "rules"!! That's your perception, meanwhile drivers coming from the opposite direction are getting blinded. The newer cars that come with HID from the factory don't have the same beam patterns like the after market brands and are therefore easier on the eyes.Last edited by SunnyHouTX; 07-12-2013, 06:01 PM.

They reflect signs from further away, but they're not much brighter than regular lights unless you opt for the higher wattage. A lot of the newer cars are starting to include it.
