    I was fishing for bass yesterday with a top floating frog. This friggin gar hit that frog hard when it landed in the water. He took off with it. I thought I had him for sure. After a few minutes of fighting with him he leaps out of the water and spits it out. I reel my little froggy in and this mother put holes all over my froggy. FML

    Lol gar have bones for mouths. Hard to hook them. Next time let him swallow it.

            That works because their teeth get caught in it. Imagine taking it out though.

              Pass lol

              I can see them close to the bank you could reach in with a dip net and catch them. They aren't very big.

                Probably spotted far. They don't get too big. Alligator gar are more in rivers.

                  Yep that is what they are. Ton of tilapia in there too lol and buffalo pretty much everything.

                    If you have tilapia in there then the bass should be humongous. Tilapia provide the best protein source for them. You can catch the tilapia with wheat bread.
