+1...I used to work at a dog groomers, we'd do a solution like what's listed here in a small pitcher, soak/scrub the dog with it (not above the neck at all), let them sit for 5-10 min, then rinse, and alternate with tomato juice. Scrub that in, sit for 5, rinse out, mix up another pitcher of 1st solution, etc...as many times as necessary. Takes awhile, but it eventually comes out for the most part. It's good to use a soothing baby shampoo or something with a gentle conditioner as a last step.

I was halfway joking. It's a remedy I saw used by people in the ghetto. Worked miracles for skin diseases.

It's said to help with demodex mange, but that's just old folk myths.

Tomato juice/sauce is suposed to help with skunk smell......... soak in it

Used motor oil

um ok

get a couple of big cans of tomatoe juice pour them in the kitchen sink... plug it first... put your dog in it and pour the juice over the areas or force him to laydown in it if the sink is big enough. he will have to soak in it for at least 20-30 minutes... ya might want to scrub the juice into the areas also... wear rubber gloves!

If you have a large tub, it would best best to do the soaking and scrubing outside

I dunno never been sprayed or had a dog sprayed my worst encounter with skunk was trapping it in my live trap then shooting it instead of getting animal control to get it the smell was horrific when we had to pull it out to dump it
