I can say that I prefer to deal with folks we have met and know. Having a history with folks eases your mind, even if you are unable to see the fish in question that they will do the right thing if something were to be wrong when you got them home. On most occasions, the deal was so cheap it covers quite a bit of smaller issues. When we deal with other folks the price is trivial compared to the deal you recieve in the livestock. I try and keep an open mind when it comes to newer folks that I have not personnally met before, but once I have a bad exp. we just avoid ever dealing with that person again. We do try and allow them a chance to make it right, but after that we will never deal with them again. We avoid posting up issues, just to avoid any silly arguments. It was our mistake for not saying no and was our lesson learned. If a situation seems amiss, it will always seem weird so we always try and be open and honest. I'd prefer to give away something then have someone feel they were taken advantage of and I expect that from those I deal with. Choosing to use the Buy/Sell/Trade area is a choice. Those are my feelings and I can say there are some terrific folk on here to meet and deal with and there are a few that I avoid like a plague ridden corpse.

I have list with a couple of plague ridden corpses that I avoid.

mmmm I think he means "best" are those who have been in the hobby for a while..

Some of the ppl that Geral listed have been in the hobby for "a while" but did not meet the criteria to be classified as "best".

Personally I would prefer to see the fish myself prior if given the option and also would not allow just anyone to come to my home, especially a lot of the jokers on here.

some don't even want you to go to there house. I did not wanna show my tank because there is a big mess everywhere
rocks all over the place and my tank is in a mini cycle? not everyone is the same.

So let me get this straight. You were selling fish from a tank that was going through a ...as you say.."mini cycle" ? If so....did you let Justin know that the tank that this fish were in was going through a ......"mini cycle" ?

all ready cycled but got some new filters and is in a mini funk right now

i recently purchased some tropheus from a fellow boxer. And correct me if im wrong but dont most of like to see the fish you are going to buy in the tank? Watch them for ahwile see how they interact with eachother, see if they are healthy? Well when i got there to pick up the fish all 30 3inch fish were in one bucket. The small fry were in a seperate container. I would like to know what y'all think about this? I think it is wrong i would never do this to a propestive buyer.

So what's your definition of "best" in this context?

Would also like to know how many times you dealt with the certain "best" as well as how many others total to be deemed "best".
