Anybody got a hook up on a way to replace micro USB charger/data port on cell phones? Mine is worn out. Next option use new phone

If you're willing to travel, the HEB off of Scott and OST has a guy who does repairs. Only reputable place I know.

I know a place on my side of town that fixes phones pretty good but its a looooong drive for you bruh

I don't think the iPhone could handle how I use phones.

Not bad a phone this nexus S, had it for two years almost and this is the only problem.

I think iPhones are poorly made... I jail broke (?) my friend's iPhone 4 and the thing was practically broken... Lock button didn't work, heat-activated screen was trippy, phone lagged like crazy, and overall I'd take an old flip phone over those POS. I've even witnessed a screen breaking from a fall out of a pocket...

*cue klondike song* "What would you do for an iPhone 5?"

I've dropped my phone a dozen times (with a case of course) at least but the screen was not even scratched (it's got a concave shape to it, maybe adds strength?) and keeps on chugging. I think I've worn out the charge/data port by how many times I've had to charge it due to constant GPS/data/text/web use over the last 21 months (bought phone 12/23/2010). If I get this charge/data port fixed, I'm thinking of getting a higher capacity battery so I can get by charging only once a day. Then I might actually wait for the 2014 upgrade
