What is your process for processing lots of pics?

Just got back and have over 12K pictures to go through.. Was wondering what the process you guys do for going through may pictures?

just to preview them or to resize them?

Any process, but interested in your work flow..

After I get them from the memory card I go through them with Windows live Photo Gallery. I will go through and delete any really bad pictures. If I am going to crop any pictures I create a separate folder for those and move them there and crop them later with photoshop.

For pictures that I am just going to resize I just use the photoshop image resizing script.

On a side, note, I really hate celaning the gear after a trip. All the sand and salt residue from the waters splashing onto the is really stubborn and hard to get out sometimes.

Me too i load them to iphoto then go over all the pics and delete what dpesnt cut it. Then divide them into categories and what has to be modified goes to lightroom and then to photoshop.
