Speaking of fighting words. I really like Reef Central but the last few threads I read through over there felt like I was watching an MMA match in progress. Would it be fair to say that this forum in general is more cordial than the average fish nerd forum?

Check out some of the people with 10k+ gallon tanks. It's amazing how some people take this hobby to the next level.

I was picking around MFK a bit last week. Some interesting stuff over there. I was rather bemused that the consensus over there was that a single full grown adult Fahaka puffer would require a 1000 gallon minimum tank size. I know they get huge, and need a huge tank--but is that an overly lofty minimum for that fish?

It was mbu and me and ek posted all over that thread. And 1000 is way too big of a jump. I think about half that would be fine
