Just to help you all out...  post # 776 - remember the number on the page shows number of REPLIES to the original post #1  (ie 0 in the system) ... simple math says post # 1 + all replies = replies+1

This will show you some of the work Nick (roommate) has done before.
I am sure that as soon as Reba gets her stand up and running with her tank on it she will post pictures.  Then you will see how the 75G (4ft Cabinet) looks like.

We use 3/4" plywood for all the stands we have built.
The doors and bottom shelf (where you put your canister filter etc) are made from 1/2" plywood.  

Then we coat the insides with a single coat and outside of the cabinet with 2 coats of paint (sanding done between coats to make it shine)  Then Clear Sealant for those times when we know you will spill water on the stand.

NOT PAINTED - you do it yourself
3ft Stand $60
4ft Stand $80

*have not done anything besides this size therefore ask before I can quote anything else*
Add $40 for paint and Clear Sealant.

PS.  Reba can attest to we don't use cheap paint.

Mzungu - as soon as the kido's are back from daycare and they have all their homework done i am hoping to dogpile into the truck and head up north to see Reba and drop off the stand..  :)
The Garage now has so much more space in it :)
Then we finish the other project in the garage and then we look at what is next in line of fun things to do :)
