I have frozen blood worms that I feed to my 160 cichlid tank occasionally as a treat, but was afraid they would foul up the water for the planted tank. Would it really be OK to feed them in the planted tank? Also, I used to get spirulina flakes when I had saltwater, haven't looked for them in a while. Which do you recommend? I only have Petsmart and Petco locally, hopefully I can get it there. If not, I'll be forced to make another trip to Houston.
yea, im always open to keeping specialty items, and tropheus are a must for me, so you should be having a problem. just let me know when your ready to get them.

Depending on how many Cardinals you have, just feed accordingly. How often do you do water changes?
Well, we havent' had one of your fish croak on us.....everyone of them is doing fine.....the little lelepe's are good, as are the electric JD's. They are cute little boogers who run around the tank endlessly chasing each other and searching for food.
The haps are in a 150 with my green terror and other larger fish, they seem to be fine.....everyone is good.....
thanks
Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
I just setup the tank Saturday, using pre-cycled bio media, so I haven't determined a water change schedule yet. It's a 45 gallon Odyssea w/ built-in filter on top, what you suggest?
Mike, what day do you usually get your new shipments of livestock? I saw someone earlier post Mondays, which stink for me because I can't get to you until Saturdays and most will be gone by then.
