I know one is on the corner of Westheimer and Voss/Hillcroft. . .

i like the brand ocean kayak. but depends on where you wanna go... fresh water or salt water. I remember taking a freshwater kayak out into the surf. I'm glad I made it back in one piece. My buddy then get a ocean kayak frenzy (the cheapest one they got) and heading out into the surf is a lot easier.

Anyone ever use an Old Town canoe? I used to live there.

Hey Doom. Check out Texas Kayak Fisherman.com There's a ton of great info and i'm sure you'll find some folks in your area that you can hook up with. As far as what I think would suit you just fine.

I'm not sure what you gonna do with it. I mean like fish or just leasure paddle but, I will say, i've paddled All 5 of these Yaks. They all have there own uses. I'm 6'1'' 265lbs. I need a big yak as well. But, you better bring your Big Boy Checkbook with ya. They are really proud of these thing's. PM me anytime.

Wow, Thanks for the tips. I may have to hold off on it for a bit, I finally got myself a bike. So my big purchase budget is a bit short.
