This monster was caught in Mississippi, but I've seen similar sized ones in the bayous down here. ...and let me tell ya, it's an exercise in sphincter control when one of these behemoths surfaces for a gulp of air next to your kayak.

I've caught little guys weighing in at 3 to 5 pounds and let me tell you....those are pretty scary even when it comes to removing them from your lure....
