Looks like either an upper-level Biology class focusing on fish or a course intended to introduce students to something local. . . when I was teaching labs, I got to teach one of the latter in Maine, and it was an amazing class! I have a feeling, though, that it's the former based on the specificity of the books. It should still be interesting and fun, though, too. I really enjoyed my Entomology class, which is why I ended up in that field for awhile.
Tell your boss you need to go home to take care of your "cichlids." It sounds an awful lot like "sick kids." )

my major is in marine biology.

The books are for 2 classes, Ichthyology and mariculture.

Tony it seems like all/most of the marine classes taught at A&M try to incorporate a local theme of flora and fauna.
