I got pulled over tonight in Laporte on Spencer and got a whopping $700 ticket tonight because I had a suspended license (that I didnt know was suspended) and I was going 50mph in a 30mph zone. Anybody know of some strings that can be pulled????

The moving violation you can take defensive driving for.. the suspended license.. problem. Do you know why its suspended ? Just forgot to get a new one after your birthday or worse ?

Never pay your ticket ,you are inacent untill proven guilty, just becouse a cop said you were speeding dose not mean he can prove it in a court. 90% of all tickets that are fought are won. (Jurys dont like cops) Get a traffic lawer. Not only will it keep it off your record most of the $$$$ you spend will go to him/her insted of the city.

You could always ask for defered judication (sp). You pay a fee and it don't go on you record.

if I pay this fee, does that take the $700 away??? I've never actually paid a ticket before. I usually just sit em out in jail but I cant do that now that I have a baby.If it ain't wild caught
